In the last 30 years I have bought or borrowed about 10 Dornfinders. They all sucked. This spike finder is 1000 times better! It just works. Watch the attached video. Shelf brackets were bolt mounted (using my old bolt finder) a few years ago. I remember it struggling and having to drill a few tiny holes to actually find the spike. This new spike finder, which you can see in the video, finds all 3 at once. Accuracy aside, this thing is as intuitive as drinking water. This works immediately. There is no calibration. It shows you the whole hairpin bend at the same time. You don't have to go back and forth in all directions to mark the edge. I've been a locksmith for 30 years. I was very impressed by this tool!
