I used these discs in my car as a phone holder on the dashboard. The first flaked off after a few weeks but I assumed it was due to the record high temperatures over those two weeks. So I used the second CD in the package and reinstalled. However, after a few weeks, the same result. Since the temperature was 70-80 degrees in those two weeks, I no longer believe that the lack of grip is due to the heat. Both times, however, the sticker did not come off the dashboard, but rather the plastic disc to which it was pre-pasted. What's a bit frustrating is that the adhesive disc doesn't even stick to the plastic disc.
