I bought these to replace a pad I previously removed from my car. I bought a new suction cup accessory but it wasn't foam and didn't stick to the textured dashboard in my car. They have an adhesive foam backing that sticks to more surfaces and is very durable.

Whilst I found it very suitable for my use, the Dash Grip was short lived, probably no longer than 3-4 months before it started peeling. I put it on at the recommended outside temperature, cleaned the dashboard material very carefully, being careful not to put it exactly where it was last and allowed 24 hours to cure before putting the suction cup on it. In the end he was still peeling off the dashboard (after 3-4 months). I use the second to exercise the same or better care in my application…

Did the job for me to install GPS on the dashboard. Some suggestions for this usage that may not be obvious: 1. This disc does not hold up well on tearing with any curvature. Consider using foam tape under the disc.2. Consider using fine sandpaper to clean the bonded area on the dash. This improves adhesion.3. I used these discs in my car as a phone holder on the dashboard. The first flaked off after a few weeks but I assumed it was due to the record high temperatures over those two weeks. So I used the second CD in the package and reinstalled. However, after a few weeks, the same result.
