I love these needles. I may be absolutely insane, but they are hotter than the Schmetz brand. I know this because I've actually ONLY used this brand until I remembered they came with an old Brother machine I had and had no "rolling" issues. It's not a technical term, I made it up when the needle doesn't want to pierce the fabric and ends up twisting it a bit and then piercing. Anyway, I bought these to try and I can tell you they are SUPER sharp and work really well with my Bernina. This is my preferred size for FPP, puecing and top stitching. They suit my sewing style better and have become my number one choice. With 100 needles at this price I can change them often and not have to worry about a thing. A complete game changer when I came to Free Roam. If you use Schmetz, try these. You're locked into the point where you can without breaking the bank. Finally, you can thank me.
