Review on Mophorn Digital Inverter Welding Machine by Larry Morris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not Your Dad's Welder

I was going to give this welder 5 stars and would if there weren't a couple of minor issues.” It got here in just 3 days than it should have gone in a week or two. It was well packaged too. The welder is certainly high quality, well built and produces a good solid seam. The wand is high quality and works. "Well the controls feel solid and the digital readings are good.It fits a larger spool of .30 solid wire, 1.0mm diameter, that comes with the .35" tip of the welder. This was the first reason i got 4 stars, it is NOT ready to weld right out of the box. Another reason I gave 4 stars was because the arc welding electrode broke right away, it must have been cracked in transit or improperly formed because the ABS plastic that holds the metal clip and spring around the machine screw breaks the two holding parts together is broken. This was easy enough to fix with a longer screw and small washer. CONCLUSION: This isn't your dad's old Lincoln or Miller transformer mic. It is very light o may confuse you at first and make you doubt the quality. Rest assured, once you get used to inverter technology and how the world economy is changing the nature of "high quality manufacturing", you will find that this welder is more than worth its price and lives up to the legendary names of old. Would I buy again, recommend to a friend.
