Even before COVID, I was always annoyed when I touched things like door handles in public buildings, public toilets and especially gas stations. I gotta love OCD. Not only for unpleasant things from people's hands, but also for spilling gasoline, which makes your hands smell of gas. I usually use my sleeves to open the doors or I press the button to open the disabled door. Glad I found this and no longer have to use paper towels or sleeves as a barrier when filling up. I agree with another reviewer who mentioned that it feels too big and feels like your thumb might fall out. I love that it comes with a magnetic part and that part + gas "glove" stays behind the gas cap and you don't have to remember to get the glove in the car and take it out.
