It's a Chromebook, that's all.

For the sake of complete transparency, I am now writing this review on this "laptop". I received this item for Christmas 2019 and have regretted it ever since. That horrible piece of plastic with the Celeron on it has felt cheap since the day I opened it, the screen is horrible plastic which alone negates a lot of the reasons to buy an IPS panel. Regardless, unless you're dealing with a painful glare, the blacks on this screen are really deep, which is good for watching movies. The trackpad is one of the worst I've ever felt, it's just that it's generally not smooth to use, resulting in a lot of overall drag that's far from uncomfortable and definitely not smooth. Pulling with this thing is pretty awful and ten times as rough as overall use. The keyboard, while fine given that the speaker is on top, should be able to stretch across most of the device's width, but it cuts off at 60% and many keys, like the back key, are uncomfortably short. While it's not the worst keyboard I've ever felt on a laptop, it's still quite muddy at times, which still causes significant hesitation when typing today. The speaker is decent, and since it's on the side of the keyboard rather than the bottom, the sound is fuller. Still, the speaker should have been moved to the sides of the keyboard, resulting in a richer sound. Moving the speaker raises the keyboard and enlarges the trackpad. Coming back to the trackpad, its edges feel quite wobbly and I find it quite uncomfortable to slide my finger over them. That brings me to the internals of the device, as the already mediocre Celeron processor is even slower and noticeably more erratic on this device. Not sure if this is due to other internals, cooling (or lack thereof) or possibly and I believe the OS is the issue. Chrome OS is a terrible abomination of human creation. I have never used a more uncomfortable operating system. To be honest, it's pretty embarrassing that this operating system even exists. You can get a lot more for the price of a Chromebook. In the beginning, the idea of the Chromebook was great, a simplified device with Chrome. But as time goes by, it becomes increasingly obvious that Chromebooks are utterly useless. Chromebooks have become increasingly expensive in recent years, resulting in Chromebooks worth over $1,000. A Chromebook isn't a computer, it's a web browser that costs significantly more than ever. With this device you are reduced to Google Chrome and nothing else. Although there are now Chromebooks in the enterprise market that can fully emulate 64-bit Windows, this is only in the enterprise market and ultimately completely unnecessary. The software that you can download on this device is very limited. All apps are either Android apps that barely launch or aren't optimized for a laptop device, or the glorified Chrome bookmark. In terms of device storage, the fact that they advertise the free storage that everyone gets on Google Drive as a feature of the device actually speaks for itself. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It's a waste of money that looks cheap and costs less. Buy a cheaper Windows laptop instead, or consider getting a tablet that works similarly to a computer. Many Snapdragon devices and other ARM-based devices cost a lot less and are much more value-oriented. While the price of this "laptop" may seem attractive at first glance, you will end up regretting not having saved a little more and bought a decent thin and light laptop.
