Bought a year ago. Love it. Just something simple for school and Netflix. I haven't had any problems so far. My SD card keeps crashing. Any suggestions?

I bought an HP Chromebook in December and have had touchpad issues since May. Tried all the fixes suggested by HP but ended up having to submit them. Luckily it's still under warranty and has had another refurbishment and the touchpad seems to be working fine so far. Now, August, the Chromebook won't charge. Step by step we restart the process with a virtual assistant hoping for a good result but still disappointed with the product. I thought buying from HP was the smart way to go.

For the price we could have gotten much better but the shops were closed due to the pandemic and we were unable to shop at that time. How does Chrome Books find a market? If you've ever had a real laptop, this will be frustrating. 1) looks and feels cheap 2) has very limited functionality 3) doesn't even allow wallpapers or backgrounds to be used ZoomChrome book = digital age cave walls. We have learned our lesson.

Avoid this Chromebook infected with Covid-19. The trackpad only works intermittently, which requires the use of a mouse and can't get the camera to work for video conferencing.

For the sake of complete transparency, I am now writing this review on this "laptop". I received this item for Christmas 2019 and have regretted it ever since. That horrible piece of plastic with the Celeron on it has felt cheap since the day I opened it, the screen is horrible plastic which alone negates a lot of the reasons to buy an IPS panel.
