Found a very easy way to install this

Note. Bought these for our minivan because it has very wide wheels and tires and the tires would rub whenever we put two or more adults in the back seat. the inside of the wheel arches every time we hit a bump on the highway. First, there was absolutely no way for me to install them while the springs were still on the car (2007 Honda Odyssey Touring). . Spring gaps were half the width of sumo springs. I went ahead and removed the springs (very easy, one 17mm bolt on each side of the car). After removing the feathers, the sumo feathers were still much thicker than the gap in my feathers. That didn't happen. Also, the recommended dishwashing detergent just got stickier and stickier in an attempt to force them. It was not good. I ended up going to AutoZone and borrowing their Powerbuilt Strut Scroll compressor (pictured) but instead of compressing the springs I used it to decompress the springs. Once they were flattened, I brushed the SumoSprings with coconut oil and they went in right away. They were very easy to slide and adjust to the perfect position on the springs. Once they closed, I simply held the feathers up to the faucet on the side of my house and rinsed off the coconut oil. Everything is very easy to reattach and the rear definitely feels stiffer.
