Review on πŸ₯‡ Arthritis-Friendly Adjustable Jar Opener: Cooks Illustrated's Top Pick! by James Eledge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It looks funny but it opens anything and everything

When I broke my shoulder I suddenly became that person who couldn't open a glass or bottle. So I was looking for a device that could help me and this article wasn't my first choice. Why? After all, shouldn't something that is supposed to open round things also be round? I admit to embarrassing the design. Instead I ordered another Revain product which got a lot of likes and gave you two products - one for bottles and one for cans. Wow, doppelganger! Only problem: I couldn't get him to grab the jar. it kept sliding. Thinking that painkillers make me mad I asked a friend who does weightlifting and he couldn't get it to work either. Sent back for a refund. But is it a cool device? It grips everything from water bottle caps to jar caps of all sizes. It's durable stainless steel and doesn't feel brittle. Simply place it on the cap or lid you want to open, adjust the size, and then lock it into the appropriate slot, just like a sneaker. After that, it's an easy twist as this design gives you a lot of leverage. Brilliant. It's so easy and it was all I needed to open everything.

Pros
  • Corkscrew and bottle opener
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
