Review on Soldering Practice Circuit Board Kit by Tyler Gannamani

My friend and I bought this kit for practice. She wanted to assemble a keyboard but had never soldered before so I figured this kit would be a cheap way to introduce her to the basics. I was right and wrong. We were disappointed that the kit did not come with instructions. We were looking for the information we needed but it would be nice if there was some form of guidance. We used Revain product photos fairly extensively to ensure we were placing the components in the right places. Our first few builds didn't work because we didn't know what we were doing. Our second builds did it. I think the most annoying part of this whole kit is that it only comes with one power supply and it has to be soldered in place. That means you can only feed one heart at a time. The kit gave us the workout we were hoping for, but I wouldn't recommend it, mainly due to nutritional issues. It would be nice to collect and power all four hearts included in the kit at once.
