I wish I had known this sooner, but OGX hair products (now owned by Johnson & Johnson) contain DMDM hydantoin. I have been using this shampoo for 3 years because I wanted a sulfate free shampoo. I noticed hair loss but attributed it to aging but was concerned. I never thought it could be caused by hair products. I checked the ingredients on the back of Moroccan Shampoo's "Renewing + Aragan Oil" shampoo and indeed, DMDM, a formaldehyde formaldehyde used by Johnson & Johnson as a preservative, is listed as an ingredient.
