I wish I had known this sooner, but OGX hair products (now owned by Johnson & Johnson) contain DMDM hydantoin. I have been using this shampoo for 3 years because I wanted a sulfate free shampoo. The liquid in this bottle is nowhere near what I fell in love with. I can't even describe it. It's amber, thick, smells distinctly different, lathers differently. Unpleasant. I had to make sure I got it from the OGX store because otherwise I would say the seller filled the bottle with a different product. I have been using this shampoo for several years now. My hair is long and thin. The shampoo cleans well, thick and concentrated, so I only need a little. Moisturizing. Clean, natural scent. I use it with conditioner.

It's great I still love this formula but to be honest I prefer the other formula which is the high strength version. I find my hair and skin tolerate it better and actually don't break out at all as I have so many skin allergies to other companies' face washes and soap products that I washed my face with the fortified version. and my face tolerated the extra strong version well, no pimples, no pimples, no enlarged pores from it.
