Last year I tried the RAM Mount 1" ball system. The first lasted half a year, it was replaced and it lasted six months. Then I tried another, simpler style , and it's only lasted 4 months.Anytime I see a brand in store that I haven't tried (and which is on sale/clearance) I pick one up and try it.I even have a whole case of them in the garage. When you unlock the button the phone stays on. No rattling. The mount is VERY sticky. It was hard to remove when I wanted it to come off. I live in the North East where the weather in the car is from 70 can go to 0F I will buy more of these, one for each car, as spares and give them to people!
