Excellent in theory. I have an iPhone 11 and two things happen. First - I have a thin case and the phone sometimes flies out of the holder and onto me. Second - the outlet is lame. It won't fix it. It only leans forward so far that I can barely see my screen.

I got this phone holder two weeks ago and so far it has been great. I had a little trouble gluing it, but that's just my jerk. I have an older Jeep Liberty and the dashboard is split right where I needed it to be glued. Once I got the placement right, it stuck really well. It fits perfectly on my iPhone XR with Otterbox Defender Pro. I definitely recommend it!

So far, so good. We had some hot days and I didn't get in the car to find the phone holder on the floor or it fell off while driving :/. To be honest, the suction cap is the key. My previous holders had a great sticky surface. But you really need that suction lock to keep it going. So happy with it, hands-free and eye-level streaming when following Waze mapping systems and listening to them on the go.

Looked really cool. Well glued to the windshield. I then placed the phone between the grips and the weight of the phone immediately caused the mount to tip down and then pop out of the windshield. So I tried the dashboard. I cleaned it, dried it, used a small round thing to hopefully improve suction. No, the same thing happened. A BIG issue is that the holder's grips sit too low on the phone making it sit heavy on top. I am extremely disappointed.

The suction cup is coated with a super sticky gel that permanently sticks to the windshield and ruins it as it's nearly impossible to remove this goo, especially when it's out in the sun baked. within a few days! I tried to get this sticky gel out of the plastic cup completely so I could just use the regular suction cup underneath and it wouldn't come loose. Is always. Good: The suction power to the window is still very good, as is the adjustable bracket length. Bad"legs" on the bottom don't hold the phone well. A good push or even a strong jump on the gas and the cell phone is on my lap or somewhere else in the car. I initially gave this product an overall rating of 3 stars because it is durable and adheres well to the windshield. However, I will be returning this item as it does not keep our phones secure.
