Review on Hamilco Black Colored Cardstock Thick by Jennifer Roberts

I really like this paper. I bought it based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. However, based on reviews, I counted the papers before using them. and like most other people, I didn't get all 50 leaves. I only got 47. That's why I put a star. If you have a project where you need exactly 50 sheets I would definitely order two packs or use another supplier. Other than that, I love everything else about this paper. . Very nicely packaged so nothing is damaged. It was in a box with plastic wrap and then there was a piece of cardboard in the box to keep the box from breaking. The paper arrived in perfect condition with no creased corners or damaged sheets. It has held up well when used with watercolours. In my last photo you can see it's a little twisted, but no more than a regular watercolor. When I put a couple of heavy books on it overnight, it straightened up perfectly. I really like how the colored pencil and my other pens/markers appear on the sheet. They differ slightly in black front and back. You can see it in my 3rd and 4th photos. It looks like a big difference in my photos, but it's just how the lighting hits it. It's NOT THAT noticeable. But one side seems to reflect the light a little more than the other. Overall, I really like this paper. It's all black, the edges are clean and sharp, not jagged and hard like thick paper. It's a little thinner than a normal postcard, but much thicker than printer paper. I mainly use it to create postcards and pictures. with watercolor and calligraphy and it's definitely good for that. I would buy this again.
