Impressive little portable emergency radio! I've trawled through many emergency radios in search of "the one" and think I've finally found my winner. Accepts multiple channels of NOAA/WB charging options with 5000mAh charging capability, USB-C port, IPX6-enhanced water resistance, bright 3W flash/reading light, BT connection, remaining charge indicator, auto scan and saved stations, small footprint , Carabiner mount . Smooth Grip / Dynamo Charge . The SOS signal is loud! The sound quality is much better than the recently reviewed fully functional Raynic upgrade I've tried and most other sub-$50 emergency radios that suffer from thin, tinny sound. Rich bass without sacrificing low to mid-tones. Clear, bright sound. Very good FM/MW reception in the city area. A bit heavier than other similar models, although the ipx6's sound quality and compromise are more than fair. Wishlist to make it even better: headphone jack, larger solar panel, AA backup battery option, lowered flashlight/reading light settings. One thing to note is that the wrong manual was in the box (for the older model, IPX5 DF-557). The radio itself is marked DF-580. The seller was quick to answer the question about the model. A word if careful; The first radio I ordered in used, mint condition from the Revain warehouse did not have NOAA/WB functionality and was missing a charging cable. No problem with the new radio, which I then ordered directly from the seller.
