Review on ๐Ÿšด Bicycle Spoke Tension Meter: Accurate Measuring Tool for Wheel Repair and Tensiometer Indicator - Aluminum Alloy Road Bike Spoke Tension Meter by Marcus Hargrave

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Poor assembly for spoke tools

The pivot arm is (essentially) held in place by a shoulder screw. There are plastic discs that take up space and reduce friction to make spinning easier. These washers were too thick. So when you tighten the shoulder screw, the arm doesn't rotate, so the spoke tension can't be reproduced. , with virtually no drag and little or no play. I then measured the tension on some of the spokes with a borrowed Park spoke tension gauge and calibrated that gauge to the Park gauge. Thus, this sensor was unusable in the form received. But after an hour of fiddling, this sensor is no worse than a park. It is essentially an exact replica of the park, except that it has a poorly executed hardware assembly. Once the hardware allows, this is a fine sensor.
