Works well on Mac, with some disconnects on Windows 10

Product generally does exactly what it says on the tin, seems to be in the higher quality spectrum than some of the less expensive alternatives. Please note that it's quite small (you can easily figure this out by looking at the pictures that it's about 7 USB-A ports wide). This may or may not be an issue depending on how many cables are run in and how angled they are (the unit is light enough to be easily hung in mid-air due to the strength of the attached cable). KVM switches tend to be heavier, but they also offer more features (display switching) and cost 5 times as much, so they're not really an option if you just want to switch USB peripherals. Thunderbolt 3 Dock) and play (Windows 10 PC). I connected all peripheral ports: - Corsair M65 mouse (not RGB, old model) - GAMDIAS Ares keyboard (cheap gaming keyboard with macro keys and single backlight but not RGB) - Logitech C920 webcam (first hardware revision that , which can playback 1080p via USB2 with the built-in H264 hardware video encoder) - Samson C01U Pro condenser microphone. On a Macbook I had no problems. Everything also works well for video conferences with 720p. When I switch it over to a Windows 10 PC and start playing some games, I notice my keyboard and mouse turning off (backlight off) every few minutes and turning back on in less time. more than a second, but it's enough to be annoying during the game. The hub is connected to a USB3.0 port that connects directly to the Intel CPU's USB root hub, so it should be fine. I even tried plugging it into a port connected to the motherboard's onboard ASMedia USB 3.1 controller, but that didn't work. I'm still investigating these issues, it could be because Windows is turning off the ports (so I disabled power management for all the USB hubs I could find in Device Manager) or maybe they're not getting enough power (hence why I want to get a usb hub). -C charger) but I doubt it's the latter as the camera/mic aren't being used so they should be drawing very little power at this point (I even disabled them). And the keyboard/mouse is not a modern gaming device that consumes a lot of energy.
