Bought as a birthday present for my husband and also for garage use as we are both car enthusiasts. The magnetic properties and suspension are a big plus, but let's talk a little bit about the brightness factor! I don't know what it is about men who "check brightness" as soon as they buy such a device, but my husband tried the same and found that his eyes weren't fans. I was across the room and I thought lightning had struck behind me. I turned and saw it was just my husband blinding himself. The moral of the story is that as tempting as it is to try the brightness level, I wouldn't recommend looking directly at the light. If you do that, your partner has every right to laugh at you and start singing Bruce Springs' Blinded by the Light.
