great product! I use a Mac and don't want to mess around with PC only programs to download data from the monitor which most other monitors have. This writes to a memory card that you can insert into your Mac (or PC) with an adapter, and the data is stored in files as a tab-delimited spreadsheet. The filenames are *.XLS, but it's just a tab. -separated data that I could easily read in R. It stores 30,000 lines (date, time and readings for each sensor) in a file and then jumps to a new file. I'm definitely seeing noise around +/- 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit, but that's not a big deal. I used it to control the inlet and outlet water temperatures as well as the outlet air temperature of our water based heat pump. It's exciting and useful. Looks solid and includes everything you need to get started.
