Review on Aujen Humidifier Bedroom Ultrasonic Adjustable by Chelsea Miller

I have had this humidifier for several weeks. It looks good and is very quiet. I bought it for a large room (advertised 100-450 sqm) with high ceilings and an open concept. I think this works as advertised in an enclosed space with a standard ceiling height. According to the instructions, filtered water should be used. I've tried "filtered" and "softened" water but both resulted in the minerals splashing into the water and white dust appearing on furniture/floors/pictures/curtains etc. Using distilled water solved this problem and is almost maintenance free. although distilled water is more expensive than filtered tap water. I had a humidifier many years ago and vowed I would never buy another one as the service seemed consistent. Ultrasound is the solution.
