This humidifier is easy to set up in 3 minutes. Very easy to fill by removing the lid and pouring water into the large opening and then putting the lid back on. No filter! This is a big plus. I wanted to try this humidifier because my nose often bleeds from dry air. This humidifier is quite large and holds nearly a gallon of water. There are 3 levels, 3 high, 2 medium, 1 low. It will go to "--" at idle when it is off or there is no water. Level 3 is pretty strong. It lasts all night and is pretty quiet. I really like this humidifier. Purchased 3. Pros: Sleek looks, paint can size (slightly larger) and shape, super quiet - just a little motor hum and occasional dripping, easy to fill, easy to clean with water. Container, spray wand needs some patience to get in all areas, but still easy to clean, low lasts 24 hours, high lasts 12-14 hours, won't wet the surrounding area, has an auto shut off when the water level is too low. Another great pro is customer service. I have only used UV lamps twice.
