Watch the video for a full review. Came with good instructions, easy installation in 30 minutes with an Allen key, 10mm socket and 13mm socket. My only complaint is that it's a bit difficult to get the key in the key slot when the latches are locked. (I think the locking mechanism moves a bit when you turn it to the locked position.) If the locking mechanism is critical to you, choose another product. The lock is pretty cheaply made and you won't be happy with it. For me the lock was not important. Also, the hex wrench head on the back of the bottom locking bolt is misleading - it makes you think you need to tighten both the bolt and nut. But the screw is permanently fixed, so when tightening, the head broke off. The screw is still there though, so I'm not worried about that. Overall the latches seem good enough, although for $50 I would have expected a little better quality. I know a lot of famous brand locks cost over $100, but in my opinion that's just ridiculous. I don't understand why you have to spend 100β¬ to get decent hood locks.
