This is a must have outlet. I am an ASE mechanic and have a GMC Sierra 03 5.3L. I had to replace the oil lift unit once when I bought the truck and had to pull out the upper intake manifold to replace it, all the other oil pressure sensor connectors (8+) I have don't slip over the old sensor. This is due to the proximity of the ski lift valley cover. When that sensor failed, I decided to wait and try that outlet. I'm very glad I did. She jumped right in and turned a two-hour job into a 15-minute one. A worthwhile investment that has saved me time and the cost of intake manifold gaskets.
