Nice and light compressor

We recently bought a new car and the other day we noticed that the tire pressure was so low that we got a warning. Since tire pressure pumps are expensive where we live, I bought this compressor thinking it might save us the trouble of constantly spending money until we get consistent tire pressure. The compressor was delivered today and I used it for air straight away. all the tires and wanted to take a moment to share what was good and not so good about this machine. First, it's lightweight and has an integrated handle, making it easy to carry. It comes with a detachable power cord about 8 or 9 feet long that plugs into a 12V outlet and a short air hose that is permanently attached to the unit. The air hose has a "lock-off" nozzle that allows it to be attached to the valve when the tire is full, making it relatively easy to add air. The compressor also comes with a built-in flashlight, which comes in handy if you need to use it at night, and has a digital readout for setting the air pressure you want the tires set to, and an auto shut-off so it stops "airing." ". " Tire with your chosen pressure. It's relatively fast, so it took less than a minute to increase the tire pressure from 28psi to 33psi in our lowest pressure tire. There are some disadvantages to this compressor. First, the air supply hose is short and can't reach some tire sizes on our car (16" wheels) from the ground because those valves were on the top of the tire. That means you either have to hold the compressor while it's running or put it on some kind of stand Secondly, it vibrates quite a bit, even if you put it on the floor or on some kind of stand, the vibration of the device will cause it to "walk” on its rubber feet Thirdly, although the power cord is long enough to pull from the outlet to reach to each tire in our car, it's not long enough to carry the device around in the car while the tires are deflated, I had to pull the power cord through the window on one side, tires bleed on that side, put back in car and let out through window on other side, then bleed tire on that side. Digital readout and unit turns off, but not before pressure is 0.5 psi. Inch exceeds the set value. o If you want 33psi, you should probably set it to 32.5psi to turn it off at 33psi. In general, this is a good and practical compressor. It is small and light, easy to carry when travelling, and is powered by your car's 12 volt system. It's new so I can't say how long it will last but I'll update this review if I find it breaks easily. I took a star off the accuracy rating because it doesn't shut off at the set pressure and 1 star from the ease of use rating because the device has to be run through the car to get to the tires on either side. Aside from the issues I mentioned, I think this is a great little compressor.
