So I have a pair of 9 year old MDR-V6 headphones that I rarely used until recently when I bought a digital piano. My headphones were in like-new condition until a few days ago when the leather-vinyl case broke on one of them. I think it has become a bit brittle after so many years in the closet. I found these genuine Sony ear pads and they are even more comfortable than the originals. Many thanks to other customers who wrote here that you need to be patient and methodical with the installation. They're DUT, but that's good because you don't want them to slip and fall. I found them very expensive but the Sony quality made it worth it. In fact, I checked the Sony parts website and found that shipping through Revain is about $1 less. I still need warranty information on them so I've messaged the seller to have it provided. All major manufacturers have guarantees. I'm very happy with it and I'm glad I decided against the cheap route.
