Very disappointed. They are too small for MDR-V6. They can be installed, but it's very difficult and requires you to pull on the material so hard you almost tear it. And once installed, the perimeter stretches very tightly, and the fake soft leather is likely to fail sooner than normal (and it usually fails very quickly). The original ear pads for my SONY MDR V6 headphones were in poor condition, the coating was cracked and severely peeling off. I bought these replacement parts hoping to restore my headphones to 'like new' condition and they have done just that. They're a little tricky to install. They look and feel the same as the original ear pads on my MDR-7506. Like everyone else, mine started peeling after about 5 years of moderate use. The design of the replacement parts is such that the shell is thin and soft, just like the original. Headphone pads always wear out, some lose their softness, some crumble, these start to peel off. So I have a pair of 9 year old MDR-V6 headphones that I rarely used until recently when I bought a digital piano.
