UPDATE 05/15/18: Drain still works fine but paint is chipping. There is no leaking faucet/drip and we've never used harsh chemicals to clean it so I'm not sure what's causing it. I'm disappointed because otherwise this drain is great. First Rating: Excellent quality, beautiful looks and hard work. The drain mechanism for opening and closing is very convenient. A note: if installing with a sleeve, make sure to thread the sleeve separately first. Do not keep it on the drainage part and do it at the same time. I accidentally inserted it into the PVC drain part and had to saw through the PVC to loosen it and replace the PVC.
