Review on 🔌 Enhanced Performance Motorola SB5100 Surfboard Cable Modem by Mark Albright

Technology is at its best when you're not even aware of it. This is the best way to describe this modem. I've had it connected to CableVision OptimumOnline for a year and it works. It just works. That's good :) I've never had to turn it off, I've never had to reconfigure it, I haven't even had to check. it was so easy). This is the third cable modem I own. Earlier models include an RCA and a zoom. RCA was by far the worst piece of hardware. EVAR. The Zoom modem is pretty good, it still works on my mum's but it has to be restarted (unplug, plug in) so often. Unlike the above, this modem has been 100% trouble free and maintenance free, even after a year of faithful service. I connected mine to a Netgear wireless router with no problems and no setup from the cable modem side. If you're tired of fiddling with your current modem just to get service, or you're buying a cable modem for the first time and still not sure what to get, then you should seriously consider this one to buy modems.
