I bought this cable last year before I had 4K hardware. Having recently bought a TCL 49S517 and an AppleTV 4K I decided to give this cable a try despite all the bad reviews that it wasn't right for them. Well it works great for me. I have a 10ft version of this cable connected from an ATV 4K to a TCL TV HDMI port #2 and it works with no issues. I ran tests on ATV 4K for each video mode and they ALL work. 4K Dolby Vision, HDR, 60Hz, 50Hz and 25Hz, all video modes work without a single problem. I watched the full Dolby Vision version of Peanuts and had no problems.
