Good transmission fluid for use with old Mercedes 4 speed automatic (722.3)
After flushing and draining the fluid in a 1988 Mercedes 300E filled with Chevron MD-3 . It was recommended by the recognized West Coast Mercedes authority. This 300E has over 200,000 miles on the original gearbox (722.3 series) and runs and shifts smoothly. The car regularly makes long trips (500 km one way). More than six months have passed since the fluid change without any problems.
