The first pump only lasted about 3 weeks. I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement with no questions asked. Installed it yesterday and it sounds way better and more powerful than the first one. I have no reason to believe this one won't last for years. Ps despite what Polaris says the pump can be replaced. The only tools needed are a couple of small flat blade screwdrivers to hold the latches in place while you work around Steve's mount. Just take your time not to damage the small wires on the fuel gauge. 21.10.20. Adding additional reviews based on recent experiences. I would give this seller 6 stars for customer service if I could. In a nutshell. The second pump also failed. But likely the problem is related to how the fuel pump assembly was set up when I bought the used Ranger. After several emails and sharing photos of the configuration (all answered within a few HOURS), they agreed to a refund of the money and made recommendations that I should replace the entire assembly (see previous comment on buying used). Anyway, today I ordered a complete assembly from the same seller. Hope that helps!
