I love this collar. This will be the third purchase for my cat Gus (pictured). He lives at home and on the street and for the second time in 4 years I've had him he came home without a collar. This is annoying but good because it means he could remove the collar if he gets stuck. It's not as easy to break out as a traditional detachable collar with a nylon clip, which is why I like it. I also have a purple version for my kitty. Since she's only indoors, she only wears them occasionally, like when the handyman is repairing something. sometimes he can casually close the door. I have never had a problem with cat throat ulcers as some other reviews have suggested. The skin is stiff when new, but will soften over time. I take Gus' collar off as he gets ready for the night so he can enjoy his freedom.
