I've done my homework on personal CD players and I'm very glad I did. I could NOT be happier with the Panasonic SX282. I use it when I work out and I've never missed it. I kind of dismissed the fact that it came with a remote control as I didn't think I would ever use it. But now I don't know how I would be without him!. I slip the player into a Case Logic camera bag (the perfect size for a CD player and a few CDs plus a few extra batteries) and it clips around my waist. The velcro remote easily detaches from the camera bag, and REMEMBER! I can adjust the volume, repeat songs, skip songs, and so on. Very handy when you are in the gym. And of course it comes with a car kit, which is also very handy. The earbuds are also surprisingly well made and stay in place while you're on the go. Overall I'm very, very happy with the SX282. So if you are a "good consumer" then you will read several reviews on different models. I recommend you make this CD player your last stop.
