The Rokform swivel mount looks good when you look at it, but the specs say otherwise. I mounted it on the vertical part of my car, which means that the phone is attached to this mount solely with a magnet and does not depend on other services. The adhesive part applied to the vehicle works well and consistently maintains its adhesion to the vehicle. In addition, there are more than enough magnets to hold the phone securely on the mount. However, the mount's ball joint was very poor at holding the phone in place when attached to the mount. I have an iPhone 7, not a large size, and the ball joint is too loose to hold the phone in place for much longer than a 2-5 minute ride. I usually crank my phone up about 7-10 times in a 30 minute drive. It seems that this ball joint would only be enough to hold the phone in place when the bottom of the phone is also resting on another horizontal platform like the dashboard. If you plan on hanging it without a platform to support the bottom of your phone, expect this will NOT hold your phone upright without help.
