One of our cars had a frontal collision (2010 Chevy Malibu). After restoring the front (plastic parts ;)) we noticed that the SRS light was activated. 2 seat belts were put on. Upon removal, the passenger's seat belt was unlatched and looked serviceable. Brought the driver's side seat belt for repair. After receiving the repaired seat belt, I reinstalled it. The SRS light was still on. I didn't want to pay a mechanic to figure out what's causing the problem. Purchased the above item and identified the defective original SRS sensors. I reset the SRS faults and only the passenger seat belt showed up. Now I know what needs to be done to make this car completely safe again thanks to this device. A must for every handyman!
