After reading some reviews, I hesitated to order this vest and also didn't know what size to order. However, I decided that the very reasonable price was worth the risk and I'm so glad I did! As you can see from the photo the vest has a few creases but the instructions make it clear how to remove them with a hair dryer. The vest has velcro closures on the front that can be stowed away if you decide not to use it, as well as side pockets. It's definitely more of a tan, but it also has some grey/black in it so it can easily be worn with cool or warm colors. I usually wear small tops but based on other reviews I ordered a medium size and it fits perfectly - plenty of room even when buttoned up but not too big.
