Review on 18W Honeywell RUVBULB1 /C UV Lamp 18 Watt Replacement Bulb by Erin Jackson
I strongly recommend that you order lamps that are listed and packaged as.
Lamps were junk ALL failed within a day. One "popped" as soon as I plugged it in and turned on the power. The other two didn't even light up. I put the old bulbs in to test the cartridge and the old bulbs lit up right away. It appears to be some sort of fake Honeywell "Made in China" lamp. The bulbs came in standard thin white packaging, NOT the one you normally receive them in. I highly recommend you order the bulbs listed and boxed as Honeywell RUVBULB1, even if you have to pay a few bucks more for them.
