Review on πŸš— Enhanced Version: 6.2" Double 2 DIN Car DVD CD Player with Camera, Bluetooth, GPS Navigation, and Touch Screen by Chris Drury

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Normal Block - Automotive

Wanted to wait a few months to write a review. Here are my takeaways from this stereo: Good: The install was pretty easy if you can read that you can plug it in, and the wiring in my car was a terrible mess, and I managed it anyway. GPS gets 4 stars. I use it every day for pizza delivery and it's very easy to use and pretty accurate. The rear camera function works well, in fact it has less latency than my factory rear camera F150 from 2014. Just plug and play. It has some splash screens and you can run it with your car maker's icon (like BMW, Ford etc), although my Saturn is a bit out of date so the icon isn't there, no problem. BT through my iPhone really works Well I can understand people and they can understand me, usually better than many factory Bluetooth systems I've heard. When listening to the radio, I like the screen layout. It would be nice if the clock was bigger, that's a little afterthought at the top of the screen. Bad: The DVD player will NOT play region-locked DVDs, basically every DVD ever made, unless you have a region-independent DVD recorder. The volume doesn't increase much even at 40 (which is "loudest"), at least when playing over BT. It's fine on the radio, but over the BT the volume sucks. When connecting to the headphone jack is also fine. Maps cannot be updated. The device itself prompts you to go to the website, which is what I did. However, you need to know the actual manufacturer of the device, which cannot be determined, so I cannot update the maps. The only downside to GPS is that it takes a while to load. Even though they tell you he has IBS, he doesn't. The seller responded to all my questions very quickly and gave me a partial refund for the broken DVD. I went ahead and kept the device plugged in and looking and sounding good.
