I am a professional cleaner and Spic and Span is one of the best floor to ceiling cleaners around. It was always in our house growing up. It has changed from what it used to be due to environmental concerns, but it's still the best. Already in the 60s it had green detergent stains, which are no longer present in this version, but this does not affect the cleaning properties. I use spic and span for everything related to mirrors, glass and wooden furniture. It cleans hardwood floors when diluted to one tablespoon per gallon of warm water with a damp mop. There are no stripes and it gets dirty and gloomy. It is excellent for stainless steel, all types of floors (except carpet), bathrooms, walls, baseboards and countertops. I put a tablespoon in a liter jar and go from the kitchen to the bathroom to clean up. Too bad that Spic is no longer available in stores.
