1. My phone is bigger and not in rock shape. I stuck the supplied backing onto my phone, but it's too heavy to stick to the magnet (through the case) and falls off the vent when driving. (My husband's phone is smaller, it has a Rokform case and it fits really well.) 2. I have thick air vents in my car and it's almost impossible to fit them to the air vents. It's not something I would constantly install and remove for fear of damaging the vent. My husband's truck has thinner vents and is much easier to put on, but he doesn't like the phone covering half of his vent as the Rokform magnet is right in the middle of the phone.
