Short, slightly awkward cut, but it'll do.
Overall I like this skirt and I do get compliments when wearing it. It's not as high waisted as the image and it is pretty short. Also I find the seam where the top part of the skirt meets where the pleats start to be in an unflattering location so I do not wear this with crop tops or anything tucked in.
