Update after 2 months is great! At the moment there are no quality problems with regular use. Here are some tips. The steering wheel locks into place and stays secure. It just takes a lot of strength. We had the same issue where the connection kept dropping until I actually looked into it a few weeks ago. Light - they always "broke" so we had to take them out, press the little button to reset them and then 2 minutes later the red button would be pressed and we would have to do it again. A small child sees a red button and wants to press it. SOLUTION - Tape on the internal reset button. Now the red button turns them off, but all you have to do is hit the headlight and they're back on!
