Review on TORC T27B1 FWT RS L T27B Full Face Modular Helmet with Blinc Bluetooth: Ultimate Protection & Connectivity for Riders by Matt Schmick

My previous helmet was an old worn IV2 modular helmet so keep that in mind. If you are from Shoei then yes some of these reviews are correct when they say it is 'cheap' and 'noisy'. However, I will say that for the price, this is one of the best Bluetooth headsets out there. Other reviews are correct in that you should buy a size up. My IV2 was medium and this helmet was large and they are almost identical in size. The speakers are very good in the city and on a 80 km/h desert highway, but wind noise from the highway eats away at the bass and only amplifies the noise. The best thing about this helmet is the screen and face folding mechanism, both are very solid with no play. As for the "20% smaller" form factor, yes, it's a bit smaller than other helmets, but you can only tell that by comparing them side-by-side. In itself it looks like a normal helmet. Finally the ventilation is good, or at least better than my old brain cell. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's great, but it takes a lot of mouth breathing to create mist.
