Check existing hardware
If your existing fittings do not close automatically, your doors are having problems and need to be replaced. Why is the actual door misaligned by 1/8 inch or so and also the mounting holes and because they are so close to the existing ones that they go back into the hole and the doors won't close even after refinishing. If you don't have a self locking stick with them my advice is 3 stars as they don't work for my cabinets. I should have read all the reviews first.
