Fits my Ford Ranger 85 2wd perfectly. 2.3. My truck had an idle problem. I removed the vacuum line going to this regulator and the problem was solved. To see if you need to replace it here is a hint. If you disconnect the vacuum line from this regulator and gas leaks from the line or regulator, you will need a replacement. No gas should escape from the top of this part. This part was delivered quickly and fits perfectly. Installation took about 10 minutes
