Support is terrible. You don't honor the guarantee. I bought 3 Ecobee Lite for my home. After 3 months one block started to fail. I called support and although they could see the issues from a distance they denied if the problem was theirs. I showed them how the readings of the device differ from the readings of an autonomous room thermometer. They said the other thermometer must be wrong. They asked me to install a remote sensor next to the Ecobee. After collecting data for a few weeks, I called back. I had photos showing two Ecobees tilted up to 6 degrees. I had photos showing the room was set to 83 degrees and the actual temperature was 90 degrees? Was it enough? No, I had to restart the device. I had to reset the remote control sensor. I had to install the sensor on another device to prove it wasn't defective. However, this is not enough to replace the device. All in all I spent 2 phone calls totaling over 2 hours trying to fix an issue with their product. Never had problems with the configuration. I am an experienced technician. That someone wasn't? I have no doubt that Ecobee will blame them and leave. There are other options. Run away from this company.
