works for two purposes
I bought this as a depth gauge for my master drill. To my surprise, the threads were the same as the depth gauge threads. I also needed a spring stopper for this drill press which was not included. I looked for ways to make the pen stand out online but it took a lot of work. I have found that with this depth gauge it also works for the quill stop, if you simply move the stop from the top of the cast stop under the cast stop it becomes the quill stop. Two steps One device.
