My job is to install alarm systems. I use this product to mount things in plasterboard walls/ceilings and false ceilings. IN THE HOLE. I'VE SEEN MANY PEOPLE DOING THIS AND THEY HAVE A HUGE HOLE IN THE WALL AND A BIG MISTAKE. THIS PRODUCT IS FAST, EASY AND DIFFICULT TO USE. This is great because: 1. Once properly screwed onto the mounting surface, it sits perfectly flush2. If installed correctly, it will never be pulled out3. Personally, I use #6 screws from 3/4" to 1-1/2". No screw is too long for this dowel4. It doesn't stretch. Typical snap-in anchors tighten as they are screwed in, which means they stretch (not good)5. Installation is easy. I find it best to make a hole big enough for the pointed end of the anchor to fit into the hole and then screw it into the wall/ceiling using the built in threads on the anchor6. Reuse. I reused these anchors. As long as you don't remove the head when installing, you can easily remove and reuse it. Uses: security cameras, alarm keypads, motion detectors, control panels, artwork, horns/sirens, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
